The Year 2023 is about to come and for those who are in Paris or want to spend their holiday there, we have prepared some popular shoe brands you must own. It’s impossible to have an excessive amount of footwear, isn’t that, right?
Investing in a pair of shoes that serves as a statement piece is one of my favorite ways to spruce up an outfit and give oneself an extra spring in their step. These French shoe brands are some of my favorites to shop for personally.
These French shoe brands are ideal for you if you want to acquire a pair of shoes that neither of your friends already own, as they are unique and hard to find.
Shoe Manufacturers from France:
The following is a rundown of some of my new favorite French shoe brands, many of which I became aware of while I was residing in Paris. I’m going to get started with the most impressive ones first.
One of my favorite shoe brands made in France is called Carel Carel. It is a brand that has a rich backstory and history that can be traced back to the 1960s.
Carel is one of the few older brands that has managed to cultivate an image that is modern even though it has preserved a significant number of the original vintage shoe models that it originally produced.
The timeless Kina shoe, which is crafted of red patent leather, has developed into a wardrobe mainstay in my collection. In addition to that, Alexa Chung is a fan of it!
Repetto:
The Cendrillon model of ballet flats is what made Repetto famous; these shoes are considered to be quintessentially French. If you want a little bit more height, you also have the option of purchasing the Camille shoe in a low-heeled version.
- Jacques:
- Jacques is a French shoe brand that was established in 1933 by Jacques Kéklikian in Saint-Tropez, France. During the 1950s and 1960s, the brand saw rapid growth in popularity after several influential ladies were spotted wearing the company’s strappy brown sandals. The Epicure leather sandal continues to enjoy massive popularity even in modern times.
Michel Vivien
I learned about the French shoe brand Michel Vivien through the social media platform Instagram.
Sabina Socol, Jeanne Damas, and Eléonore Jeanne are known to be frequent wearers of these upscale footwear options. The sandals with the woven Petrus design are a work of art.
Veja
The French city of Paris is home to one of the hippest shoe labels in the world: Veja.
As a result of the fact that they have been seen being worn by French personalities such as Marion Cotillard and others, they have become one of the it-brands in France and have made it cool to wear sneakers. You may try out the traditional Espalar model.
Luxury Shoe Manufacturers in France When discussing French shoe manufacturers, it is impossible to avoid mentioning:
Louboutin, Christian
Okay, so it’s safe to say that I was not aware of this timeless brand while I was residing in Paris. Shoes designed by Christian Louboutin have been revered for many years.
Shoes designed by Christian Louboutin have distinctively bright red soles, making them easy to see in a crowd. These French shoes are unquestionably desirable, even though their sky-high 5-inch heels make them appear to be a little bit impractical.
Roger Vivier
The luxury shoe brand Roger Vivier originates in the country of France. It is generally agreed that Vivier is responsible for reviving the prominence of women’s stiletto heels in the field of shoe design.
Between the years 1953 and 1963, he was in charge of shoe design for Christian Dior.
His Pilgrim shoes, which had heels and square silver buckles, were worn by modeling for Yves Saint Laurent’s Mondrian collection in 1965.
The same pumps were also worn by the legendary French actress Catherine Deneuve in the movie Belle de Jour, which was released in 1967.
Shoe Manufacturers in France That Are Up to Date:
These are the top current shoe companies that come from France, and the costs range from low to middle of the road. They provide an attractive offering that is both reasonably priced and of high design quality.
Anthology
Shoes made of high-quality leather and designed in contemporary designs are what Anthology is known for. Paris is where the shoes’ design is created, but Portugal is where they are made.
Chatelles
Flats with an adorable design on the toe cap are known as chattels and are popular in Paris. It would appear that they are quite popular in London, as the actress Lily James and Pippa Middleton have both been seen wearing them.
I used to live in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, and their flagship store was just around the corner from where I used to live.
The window display in their store drew my attention. You can choose from adorable designs featuring cats and dachshunds, or you can go for a tassel or pom-pom at the toe of the shoe for some added flair.
Rivecour
Rivecour is a French company that creates beautiful shoes for women.
The Moustache of M.
Moustache is a Parisian shoe business that creates many styles of footwear for ladies including sandals, boots, and shoes.
Freelance
Freelance is a shoe business that only just worked on a project along with Lou Doillon, a musical artist based in Paris.
Jonak
One of my go-to brands for stylish yet reasonably priced French footwear is Jonak. They provide shoe styles that are in trend consistently at excellent costs.
Although this does not imply that they are inexpensive, Jonak manages to strike a wonderful mix between having a fantastic design and being affordable. I can never wait to get my hands on their newest selection every season!
André
People who are shopping on a budget will find the French shoe brand André to be a very recognizable and reasonable option.
I’m not going to sugarcoat it; the vast majority of fashions do not catch my eye. However, every once in a while, as I pass by a store window, I see something that looks like a rough diamond.
I purchased a fantastic pair of traditional brown leather flights from André, and I am continually complimented on the appearance of those flights.
I would say that André is ideal for purchasing traditional French footwear, but nothing that is overly stylized. There are probably some treasures hiding around here somewhere.
